The original plans for my turbo kit called for using a custom-made manifold and a 14b turbocharger. However, once the manifold was made and installed, there were too many fitment issues. Mainly, the position of the turbo would result in the upper intercooler pipe being routed under the manifold, instead above it. Also, the manifold pushed the turbo out too far which would have meant purchasing a new radiator and slim fans. So, that idea was scrapped and I went for a tried and true combination, the Hahn Racecraft Manifold/Turbo combination. Currently, the intake part of the turbosystem includes:

Once the bottom end is complete, a custom made equal-length manifold will be made to be used with a Mitsu/Garret hybrid turbocharger.
